Celebrating Culture, Cuisine, and Community: Amore Trade's Unforgettable Journey to Experience Africa

Introduction

Africa is a continent of resplendent diversity, weaving together a tapestry of cultures, traditions, and flavors. At Amore Trade, we are deeply passionate about celebrating the best that Africa has to offer, particularly in the realm of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO). On July 22, we were honored and thrilled to join the vibrant event, Experience Africa, a joyous gathering of Africans and Caribbeans united by a shared love for the continent. Our mission was twofold: to present the finest African EVOOs, including our exclusive 1938 EVOO Red Label, 1938 EVOO Green Label, and the newest sensation, Go Natural EVOO, and to contribute to the support of the 54 orphans at the Fathers Haven Children's Home in Kisii, Kenya.

Unveiling the Finest African Extra Virgin Olive Oils

As importers of exceptional olive oils, we knew Experience Africa was the perfect platform to showcase the richness and diversity of Africa's EVOOs. Our 1938 EVOO Red Label, carefully crafted from select 50% Chamlali olives & 50% Chetoui olives grown in the heart of Tunisia in North Africa, captivated the taste buds with its mild fruity taste and nutty undertones. The 1938 EVOO Green Label, sourced from 100% organic Chetoui olives, delighted attendees with its robust and intense flavors, culminating in a satisfying peppery finish. And last but not least, our newest addition, the Go Natural EVOO made also from 100% organic Chetoui olives, impressed everyone with its vibrant and fresh taste.

A Celebration of Culture and Cuisine

Experience Africa was a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors, flavors, and traditions. Guests were immersed in a cultural journey like no other, where they indulged in the rich and delectable cuisines of Africa and the Caribbean at the food festival. The air was filled with the aroma of exotic spices, tempting the palate and igniting a desire to explore the continent's diverse culinary heritage.

Throughout the event, thought-provoking panel discussions with industry leaders delved into relevant topics, creating an atmosphere of learning, growth, and empowerment. Business owners and embassies connected at the expo, fostering networking opportunities and the exchange of ideas.

The fashion show was a spectacular sight to behold, showcasing the latest African fashion trends on the runway, celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of designers from the continent.

Supporting the Fathers Haven Children's Home in Kisii, Kenya

Amidst the celebration, the true essence of Experience Africa shone through - making a difference. The event was driven by a noble cause - supporting the 54 orphans at the Fathers Haven Children's Home in Kisii, Kenya. Every ticket purchased contributed directly to providing these children with access to education, healthcare, and a nurturing environment. We were deeply moved by the generosity of the guests, as their participation translated into tangible impact and transformed lives.
